Receptionist
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Receptionist to support daily front office operations for an energy and natural resources organization in Texas. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming workplace experience while keeping administrative activities organized and running smoothly. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for visitors, employees, and callers, while also assisting with office coordination and general administrative support.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Welcome guests and employees in a courteous manner, identify the nature of each visit, manage visitor access, and connect individuals with the appropriate internal contacts.<br>• Support new employee arrival preparations by helping coordinate first-day logistics such as workspace readiness, identification materials, office orientation, and basic supplies.<br>• Arrange meeting spaces for internal and external gatherings, ensuring rooms are prepared in advance and restored afterward.<br>• Monitor inventory for office materials and workplace refreshments, placing orders, receiving deliveries, and keeping shared areas properly stocked.<br>• Handle routine administrative work including document filing, copying, scanning, collating, and maintaining organized records.<br>• Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to Human Resources and other business teams as priorities arise.<br>• Help keep internal reference materials current, including organizational charts, employee contact lists, company notices, and event-related communications.<br>• Offer backup support for broader office administration needs and contribute to special assignments as requested.
• 3+ years of experience in a receptionist or front desk support role.<br>• Demonstrated ability to manage receptionist responsibilities in a detail-oriented office setting.<br>• Experience answering and routing inbound calls with a multi-line phone system or switchboard.<br>• Strong verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented, customer-focused approach when interacting with visitors and employees.<br>• Solid administrative and clerical skills, including document handling and general office support.<br>• Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Proficiency with standard office tools and comfort supporting day-to-day workplace operations.
