<p>Robert Half is partnering with a well-established organization in the environmental services industry to identify a Controller who will lead the accounting and finance function while serving as a strategic partner to company leadership.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys balancing high-level financial oversight with day-to-day operational involvement. The Controller will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives while leading and developing a small accounting team.</p><p>If you&#39;re looking for a visible leadership role where you can influence business decisions and help drive organizational success, we&#39;d love to connect with you.</p><p><br></p><p>What You&#39;ll Do</p><ul><li>Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll oversight, fixed assets, and month-end close.</li><li>Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.</li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements.</li><li>Develop and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures.</li><li>Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.</li><li>Partner with operational leaders to evaluate performance, identify trends, and support strategic initiatives.</li><li>Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and relationships with external auditors and advisors.</li><li>Monitor KPIs and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.</li><li>Manage capital expenditure tracking, asset management, and fixed asset reporting.</li><li>Support system enhancements, automation initiatives, and continuous process improvements across the finance function.</li></ul><p>BENEFITS OFFERED:</p><ul><li>SALARY RANGE: $110,000-$125,000</li><li>Healthcare Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision</li><li>Other Insurance: Life AD&amp;D</li><li>Retirement Plan: 401k with company match</li><li>PTO: 2 weeks paid time off and paid holidays </li></ul>
