<p>We are looking for a Claims Representative to join a finance consulting team in South Dakota. This contract position with permanent potential is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, handling a steady volume of inbound calls, and delivering accurate support in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong communication, dependable office skills, and comfort using customer service platforms to resolve questions efficiently.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming claims-related calls and inquiries.</li><li>Deliver exceptional customer service to customers, beneficiaries, agents, attorneys, and other authorized parties.</li><li>Review and research account, policy, contract, and claim information to determine benefit eligibility and payment status.</li><li>Explain claims processes, requirements, and next steps clearly and professionally.</li><li>Accurately document customer interactions and maintain detailed records.</li><li>Investigate and resolve customer concerns, escalating complex issues when appropriate.</li><li>Navigate multiple systems and applications to gather information and process requests.</li><li>Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.</li><li>Meet or exceed service, quality, productivity, and performance goals.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive customer experience and efficient workflow.</li><li>Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and process improvement initiatives.</li><li>Support special projects and other departmental responsibilities as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree preferred.</li><li>2+ years of customer service, claims processing, insurance, financial services, call center, or related experience preferred.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills with an empathetic, customer-first approach.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.</li><li>Comfortable learning and navigating multiple software systems.</li><li>Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.</li><li>Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving workplace.</li></ul><p><br></p>
