Document Controller
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team in Shelton, Washington. This is a Contract position where you will play a vital role in supporting administrative and clerical functions for various municipal and governmental departments. The ideal candidate will excel in managing documentation processes, assisting with public and interdepartmental requests, and maintaining accurate records.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage and maintain accurate records of all departmental and interdepartmental documentation.<br>• Handle data entry tasks with precision and ensure timely updates to logs and activity records.<br>• Respond to customer inquiries, providing clear explanations of processes and protocols.<br>• Coordinate and schedule appointments or meetings as needed for various departments.<br>• Assist with auditing documents and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.<br>• Provide documentation, reports, and receipts for public or departmental requests.<br>• Support the Police Department, Court, or other government offices with specialized clerical tasks.<br>• Track and monitor cases to ensure all actions are appropriately logged and completed.<br>• Compile and organize high volumes of documents for easy access and retrieval.<br>• Collaborate with other departments to manage miscellaneous administrative needs.
• Proven experience in document control, administrative support, or a related role.<br>• Proficiency in document scanning, compiling, and data entry in high-volume environments.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in records management.<br>• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to explain processes clearly to the public.<br>• Familiarity with maintaining and handling department or criminal records is preferred.<br>• Ability to schedule appointments and coordinate activities effectively.<br>• Strong clerical skills, including maintaining logs and supporting specialized tasks.<br>• Experience in working with municipal or governmental offices is a plus.
