SharePoint Administrator
<p>Robert Half Technology is seeking a SharePoint Administrator / SharePoint Site Specialist to support a large-scale SharePoint Online (M365) environment focused on usability, governance, training, and enterprise-wide site standardization. This role will support the development of SharePoint templates, improve site usability and design consistency, and help drive adoption across multiple departments in a highly collaborative environment.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Duration:</strong> 3–4-month contract (with potential to extend)</p><p><strong>Pay rate:</strong> $60-$70/hourly </p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Primarily remote – 1-day onsite (occasionally) in Shoreline, Washington </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Administer and support SharePoint Online (M365) environments</li><li>Configure and maintain SharePoint sites, permissions, templates, and backend settings</li><li>Build and improve user-friendly SharePoint sites using modern SharePoint features and out-of-the-box functionality</li><li>Develop standardized templates and toolkits for organization-wide use</li><li>Partner with departments to identify SharePoint strategies and usability improvements</li><li>Provide guidance and support around SharePoint security best practices and governance</li><li>Support city-wide SharePoint deployments and adoption initiatives</li><li>Conduct end-user training sessions and answer ongoing SharePoint-related questions</li><li>Assist with documentation, process improvements, and user enablement efforts</li><li>Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to improve overall SharePoint experience</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience administering SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365</li><li>Hands-on experience with SharePoint configuration and backend administration</li><li>Experience building SharePoint sites with a strong focus on usability and user experience</li><li>Understanding of design principles, site structure, layout consistency, and visual organization</li><li>Knowledge of SharePoint security best practices and permissions management</li><li>Experience creating or delivering SharePoint training and end-user support</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple departments</li></ul><p><strong>Nice-to-Have Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with AvePoint migration tools</li><li>Exposure to the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate</li><li>Experience supporting enterprise-wide or large-scale SharePoint rollouts</li><li>Understanding of governance and content management strategies</li></ul>
