Tax Preparer
<p>Our company is seeking experienced Tax Preparers to join our team for tax season (All levels). This role focuses on preparing complex, high-volume federal and state income tax returns for high net worth individuals and families. Ideal candidates possess deep expertise with all individual tax schedules and forms, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced seasonal environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Accurately prepare and review high volumes of individual federal and state tax returns, including high net worth clients.</li><li>Complete all relevant schedules (Schedule A, B, C, D, E, F, etc.) and forms as required by federal and state tax regulations.</li><li>Research and apply up-to-date tax laws to client situations, ensuring compliance and optimal results.</li><li>Gather client information, review source documents, and communicate effectively to clarify and resolve outstanding issues.</li><li>Identify tax savings opportunities and potential credits or deductions specific to high net worth taxpayers.</li><li>Assist clients with tax planning considerations and respond promptly to inquiries during tax season.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client data and adhere to professional ethical standards.</li><li>Utilize tax preparation software and document management systems efficiently.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Demonstrated experience preparing high-volume federal and state tax returns for individuals, including multi-state filings and all major schedules.</li><li>Proven track record working with high net worth clients and complex tax scenarios.</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of current federal and state income tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements.</li><li>Proficiency with tax preparation software (e.g., CCH Axcess, Ultratax, ProSystem fx, Drake, or similar) and digital document management.</li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work extended hours and manage workloads effectively during peak tax season periods.</li><li>Credentials such as CTEC, CPA, EA, or actively pursuing such, preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p>
