We are looking for an IT Manager/Director to provide hands-on technical support while helping shape day-to-day technology operations in California. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys solving frontline IT issues, coordinating a small support team, and building toward a broader leadership role. The position combines user support, infrastructure oversight, and practical administration across core business systems and office technology. Responsibilities: • Oversee daily IT support activities, ensuring employees receive timely assistance with account access, password issues, hardware requests, and general technical problems. • Coordinate the work of a three-person IT team, helping prioritize tasks, maintain service quality, and improve operational coverage. • Manage onboarding technology needs by sourcing and preparing laptops and related equipment for new team members. • Provide direct system administration support across platforms such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Active Directory, and Salesforce. • Serve as the local technical lead for basic network troubleshooting, including hands-on support for connectivity and infrastructure issues. • Support the operation of two colocation data center environments, helping maintain reliability and continuity for key systems. • Maintain hardware, software, and user configurations to keep business technology secure, organized, and functional. • Contribute to IT process improvement and gradually take on broader leadership responsibilities as the role evolves.

• Experience providing hands-on IT support in a systems administration, IT lead, or IT management capacity. • Working knowledge of Active Directory, password management, and user account administration. • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Enterprise, Microsoft Office applications, and Google Workspace administration. • Practical experience with computer hardware deployment, laptop provisioning, and end-user support. • Understanding of basic network troubleshooting and exposure to Cisco-based environments. • Experience supporting backup technologies, configuration management, and general infrastructure operations. • Exposure to Microsoft Azure and cloud-connected administrative environments. • Ability to balance technical execution with team coordination and growing leadership responsibilities.
