Program Manager
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level initiatives in San Diego, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity will drive program governance, reduce delivery risk, and align priorities across IT, Finance, HR, and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate brings strong merger and acquisition program leadership, with the ability to coordinate interdependent workstreams and keep critical milestones on track in a global environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Direct program governance activities, including planning frameworks, status oversight, decision tracking, and executive-ready reporting across multiple business functions.<br>• Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning IT, Finance, HR, and Engineering to maintain alignment on priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines.<br>• Lead merger and acquisition integration efforts by applying established playbooks, organizing workstreams, and driving execution against strategic objectives.<br>• Manage Transitional Service Agreement activities by tracking commitments, monitoring risks, and ensuring timely completion of required deliverables.<br>• Oversee global cutover planning and execution, including milestone coordination, readiness reviews, contingency preparation, and stakeholder communication.<br>• Identify program-level risks, assess potential business impact, and implement mitigation strategies to support successful delivery.<br>• Facilitate Agile-based program rhythms, using tools such as Jira to monitor progress, resolve blockers, and support transparent execution.<br>• Partner with senior stakeholders and functional leaders to support decisions, escalate critical issues, and maintain momentum across the program.
• Proven experience leading large-scale programs with accountability for governance, risk management, and cross-functional coordination.<br>• Hands-on background supporting merger and acquisition initiatives, including execution of established integration playbooks.<br>• Demonstrated experience managing Transitional Service Agreements and coordinating activities tied to complex business separations or integrations.<br>• Strong knowledge of global cutover planning, milestone management, and readiness execution for enterprise programs.<br>• Proficiency in IT project or program management methodologies, with practical experience in Agile and Scrum environments.<br>• PMP certification is strongly preferred.<br>• Experience using Atlassian Jira to manage work, track progress, and communicate program status effectively.<br>• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
