<p>Amanda Warren is looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support financial operations for multiple business locations based in Redding, California. This role is responsible for overseeing month-end activities, producing accurate financial reports, and helping maintain strong accounting practices across several entities. The position also serves as a key resource for the accounting team by offering day-to-day guidance, practical problem-solving, and workflow coordination in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Lead month-end close activities for multiple entities, ensuring timely completion of entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.</p><p>• Review balance sheet accounts and general ledger activity to confirm accuracy and resolve discrepancies before reporting deadlines.</p><p>• Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining reliable supporting documentation across assigned companies.</p><p>• Coordinate with accounting staff to prioritize monthly deliverables, improve consistency, and keep production goals on track.</p><p>• Provide direction on accounting treatment, reporting questions, and procedural matters to support sound financial decisions.</p><p>• Organize accounting workflows for several locations and help maintain efficient processes across a multi-entity environment.</p><p>• Support the onboarding, setup, and closeout of newly added or transitioning locations as business needs require.</p><p>• Use integrated accounting systems to compile reporting data and maintain complete, accurate financial records.</p>

<p>• 3-5 years of hands-on accounting experience in a role involving month-end close and financial reporting.</p><p>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or comparable accounting experience in a senior-level capacity.</p><p>• Strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliation practices.</p><p>• Experience performing bank reconciliations and balance sheet reviews with a high level of accuracy.</p><p>• Ability to manage multiple entities or locations while meeting deadlines in a structured accounting cycle.</p><p>• Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to guide others on accounting-related matters.</p><p>• Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of handling both detailed tasks and broader workflow coordination.</p><p><br></p><p>If you possess the above experience and are looking for a great company to evolve in your accounting career, please send your resume to Amanda Warren through LinkedIn today!</p>
