Senior Accounting Analyst
<p><strong>Jana Chapman </strong>with Robert Half Finance & Accounting is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Accounting Analyst to play a pivotal role in the organization’s financial reporting team. This position provides a unique opportunity to work on complex accounting areas such as stock-based compensation, acquisitions, and capital structure while ensuring alignment with U.S. GAAP, compliance, and regulatory standards.</p><p><br></p><p>Ideal candidates will have public accounting experience, strong technical accounting expertise, and a passion for process improvement and collaboration across various corporate teams. This role offers growth opportunities and the chance to contribute to innovation in accounting policies within a team-oriented environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Record journal entries and perform reconciliations for stock-based compensation in compliance with ASC 718; support valuation of equity awards and acquisitions.</li><li>Draft accurate financial statement disclosures for areas including equity compensation, EPS, and debt, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.</li><li>Manage the Equity Edge Online stock plan system while partnering with Payroll and Compensation teams to ensure tax compliance.</li><li>Support the rollout of updated equity plans and stay current on evolving accounting and regulatory standards.</li><li>Research and prepare technical accounting memos and entries for complex transactions and new accounting pronouncements.</li><li>Calculate and document Quarterly Credit Agreement EBITDA to ensure compliance requirements are met.</li><li>Collaborate across HR, Tax, and Corporate Accounting teams for alignment of equity, debt, and compensation functions.</li><li>Strengthen SOX internal control documentation for stock-based compensation, partnering with Internal Audit and identifying improvement opportunities.</li><li>Champion ongoing process improvements, accounting policy development, and maintain operational alignment.</li></ul><p><strong><em>Please contact Jana Chapman and reference job number: 03600-0013295510</em></strong></p>
<ul><li>CPA designation or equivalent public accounting experience is required </li><li>3+ years of experience in public accounting, with demonstrated knowledge of U.S. GAAP.</li><li>Technical expertise in stock-based compensation (ASC 718), purchase accounting, and debt/equity transactions.</li><li>Strong research skills for proposed company positions on complex accounting issues.</li><li>Excellent communication and analytical skills.</li><li>Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.</li></ul><p><br></p>
