Patch Plan Program Manager
<p>Robert Half Technology partnering with a client in the electric and natural gas utility industry to identify an experienced <strong>Patch Plan Program Manager</strong>. This individual will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of enterprise patch management activities across multiple technology teams, helping reduce security exposure while maintaining system stability and business continuity.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Long-Term Contract</p><p><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $64/hour W2</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Hybrid in Portland, Oregon</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead large, complex technology projects and programs, with accountability for successful delivery and outcomes.</li><li>Coordinate enterprise patch management schedules, maintenance calendars, testing, deployment, and remediation activities.</li><li>Partner with Infrastructure, Application Owners, Cybersecurity, OT/SCADA, Change Management, and business stakeholders to drive patching initiatives forward.</li><li>Develop and maintain project plans, scope, timelines, budgets, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.</li><li>Track patch-related risks, exceptions, remediation progress, and compliance metrics.</li><li>Identify and resolve cross-project dependencies, risks, and issues, escalating when appropriate.</li><li>Establish and maintain program governance, operating models, and communication with key stakeholders and steering committees.</li><li>Define resource requirements and coordinate availability across internal and external teams.</li><li>Manage vendor relationships, schedules, costs, and deliverables.</li><li>Manage project change control in accordance with established policies and processes.</li><li>Provide clear status updates, metrics, risks, and recommendations to leadership.</li><li>Ensure project and program documentation remains accurate and complete.</li></ul>
<ul><li>7+ years of progressive Project or Program Management experience.</li><li>Demonstrated success leading large, complex, mission-critical technology projects or programs.</li><li>Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.</li><li>Experience coordinating across technical teams such as Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Applications, and Operations.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills across all levels of an organization.</li><li>Ability to facilitate meetings, drive accountability, and navigate difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy.</li><li>Experience with risk management, change control, dependency management, and project governance.</li><li>Understanding of business process improvement and organizational change management is preferred.</li><li>Experience supporting enterprise patch management, vulnerability remediation, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or similar technology initiatives is highly preferred.</li><li>PMI or equivalent project management certification preferred.</li><li>Master&#39;s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field preferred.</li></ul>
