We are looking for a Python Developer to join a financial services organization in Plano, Texas on a contract-to-permanent basis. This opportunity is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building scalable software in a collaborative environment and contributing to high-impact lending technology initiatives. You will work alongside a cross-functional team of developers and business partners to create reliable solutions, improve platform capabilities, and help shape new technical approaches.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design, build, and enhance Python-based applications that support core lending and loan origination capabilities<br>• Partner with cross-functional teammates, including engineers and front-end developers, to deliver well-structured and maintainable software solutions<br>• Contribute to the development of new platform components and intelligent workflow features from initial design through implementation<br>• Help improve and modernize existing application architecture to support performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability<br>• Develop cloud-ready services and integrations using AWS to support secure and efficient application delivery<br>• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and solution planning to promote strong engineering standards across the team<br>• Translate business use cases into effective software designs and clearly communicate technical decisions to stakeholders

• Detail-oriented experience developing software applications with Python<br>• Hands-on exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a development or deployment environment<br>• Ability to design and implement backend solutions with attention to scalability and code quality<br>• Experience working effectively within cross-functional product and engineering teams<br>• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to explain technical concepts through practical use cases<br>• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools or technologies such as Claude is preferred<br>• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to software delivery
