<p>As a <strong>VDC Manager</strong>, you will lead and support project-specific BIM and VDC initiatives, helping project teams successfully execute digital construction workflows that improve planning, coordination, and field execution. You will serve as a technology champion, facilitating collaboration among owners, design teams, field teams, and trade partners while driving successful project outcomes through advanced modeling and coordination strategies.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>BIM &amp; VDC Leadership</p><ul><li>Lead and facilitate BIM/VDC processes throughout the project lifecycle, from preconstruction through project completion.</li><li>Develop and implement project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BxP) and coordination strategies.</li><li>Collaborate with project teams to establish and achieve BIM/VDC goals and deliverables.</li><li>Serve as the primary BIM/VDC resource for project stakeholders.</li></ul><p>Model Management &amp; Coordination</p><ul><li>Develop, manage, and maintain coordinated 3D models for:</li><li>Building systems (MEP/FP)</li><li>Building envelope systems</li><li>Site and underground utilities</li><li>Structural and self-perform concrete scopes</li><li>Create and manage federated project models for multidisciplinary coordination.</li><li>Lead clash detection and resolution efforts using industry-leading BIM platforms.</li><li>Facilitate coordination meetings and ensure action items are tracked to completion.</li></ul><p>Construction Technology &amp; Field Integration</p><ul><li>Partner with field teams to ensure coordinated models are effectively implemented during construction.</li><li>Coordinate with surveying and layout teams to support model-based field layout workflows.</li><li>Promote model-driven construction processes to improve quality, efficiency, and project outcomes.</li><li>Support adoption and implementation of emerging construction technologies.</li></ul><p>Training &amp; Process Improvement</p><ul><li>Provide BIM/VDC training and support to project teams, trade partners, and design partners.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement of BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.</li><li>Participate in evaluating, testing, and deploying new VDC technologies and solutions.</li><li>Represent the company within local and regional BIM/VDC industry groups and organizations.</li></ul><p>Reporting &amp; Project Support</p><ul><li>Track and communicate BIM/VDC performance metrics, project progress, budgets, schedules, and resource requirements.</li><li>Identify project risks, constraints, and opportunities related to coordination and technology implementation.</li><li>Support project leadership in maintaining alignment between digital construction workflows and overall project objectives.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p>Qualifications</p><p>Required</p><ul><li>Minimum <strong>3+ years of progressively responsible experience</strong> in BIM, VDC, or construction technology-related roles.</li><li>Proficiency with <strong>Autodesk Revit</strong> and <strong>Navisworks</strong>.</li><li>Experience managing or actively participating in multi-trade 3D coordination efforts.</li><li>Strong understanding of commercial construction means, methods, and systems.</li><li>Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and design documents.</li><li>Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p>Preferred</p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.</li><li>Experience with:</li><li>Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)</li><li>BIM 360</li><li>Design-Build projects</li><li>Design Assist delivery methods</li><li>Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)</li><li>Experience collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and specialty trade partners.</li><li>Understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and structural systems.</li><li>Strong 2D and 3D visualization and graphic communication skills.</li><li>Experience implementing BIM/VDC workflows in large-scale commercial construction projects.</li></ul><p><br></p>
