Project Assistant
We are looking for a personable and dependable Project Assistant to support a career fair event in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a Contract position designed for a one-day assignment, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced setting. The person in this role will help create a welcoming experience for attendees while keeping event flow organized and efficient.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Welcome attendees upon arrival and provide a detail-oriented first impression throughout the event.<br>• Manage the guest check-in process accurately and efficiently to support a smooth entry experience.<br>• Direct visitors, participants, and vendors to the appropriate event spaces and activity areas.<br>• Offer clear information and in-person assistance to help guests navigate the venue with confidence.<br>• Coordinate with on-site team members to keep event operations running smoothly during the day.<br>• Respond promptly to instructions from event leadership and adapt to changing needs as they arise.<br>• Help maintain an orderly, approachable, and service-focused environment for all attendees.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage warmly and professionally with guests.<br>• Comfortable taking direction and carrying out tasks with attention to detail.<br>• Able to collaborate effectively with others in a team-based event setting.<br>• Dependable and punctual for a time-sensitive, one-day assignment.<br>• Capable of remaining composed and helpful in a busy public environment.<br>• Previous customer-facing or event support experience is helpful but not required.
