Property Management Assistant
<p>We are looking for a Property Management Assistant to support daily operations for a property management team on-site in Oxnard, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming office experience, handling tenant and vendor communications, and keeping property records organized. The role requires strong customer service skills, sound judgment, and the ability to contribute to a detail-oriented, team-oriented environment. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Deliver responsive service to tenants, contractors, vendors, and other guests by addressing questions and routing requests efficiently.</p><p>• Assist with day-to-day administrative support for property management activities across commercial and residential portfolios.</p><p>• Maintain organized lease files, tenant documentation, and related property records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.</p><p>• Coordinate communication between the management office and external partners to help keep service needs and follow-up actions on track.</p><p>• Support a cooperative workplace by working effectively with colleagues and contributing to a respectful office atmosphere.</p><p>• Help monitor incoming issues and service requests so they are documented clearly and escalated to the appropriate team members.</p><p>• Perform general office and property support duties as assigned to help ensure smooth management operations.</p>
<p>• At least 2 years of experience in property management or a closely related administrative support role. Yardi is a plus but not required. </p><p>• Working knowledge of property management practices within commercial, residential, or mixed-use environments.</p><p>• Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally by phone and in person.</p><p>• Experience managing records, lease documents, and routine office administration with careful attention to detail.</p><p>• Ability to work effectively with tenants, vendors, contractors, and internal team members in a fast-paced setting.</p><p>• Familiarity with property management company operations and industry processes.</p><p>• Exposure to HUD-related environments, documentation, or compliance requirements is preferred.</p><p>• Proficiency in handling multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.</p>
