<p>A well-established organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day to day accounting operations, financial reporting, and technical accounting activities. This role will lead a small team, partner with leadership across the business, and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting while supporting strategic initiatives and process improvements.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.</li><li>Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules prepared by accounting staff.</li><li>Lead technical accounting research and implementation for new transactions, accounting standards, and business initiatives.</li><li>Oversee balance sheet integrity and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.</li><li>Coordinate internal and external audit activities, including preparation of supporting documentation and responses to inquiries.</li><li>Monitor and strengthen internal controls, identifying opportunities to improve processes and reduce risk.</li><li>Partner with operational and executive leadership to provide financial insight and support decision making.</li><li>Mentor and develop accounting team members while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.</li><li>Support system implementations, reporting enhancements, and other cross functional projects.</li></ul>

<p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Accounting or Finance.</li><li>6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.</li><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.</li><li>Experience researching and documenting technical accounting matters.</li><li>Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills and experience working within ERP systems.</li><li>CPA or CPA candidate preferred.</li></ul><p>Preferred Experience</p><ul><li>Experience within a highly regulated environment.</li><li>Strong background in financial reporting, internal controls, and audit coordination.</li><li>Exposure to regulatory compliance and complex accounting transactions.</li><li>Experience driving process improvements and leading accounting teams through change.</li></ul><p><br></p>
