Loan Processor - Support
We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Processor - Support team member to join a busy mortgage team in Minnesota. This contract opportunity with potential for a long-term role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing loans from application through closing while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and strong communication with all parties involved. The person in this role will help keep mortgage files moving efficiently by coordinating documentation, third-party services, disclosures, and final closing preparation.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Review incoming mortgage applications for completeness, accuracy, and readiness for processing.<br>• Coordinate the collection and timely disclosure of third-party fees associated with each loan file.<br>• Order, monitor, and evaluate appraisals, verifications, title work, and other external services required to move loans forward.<br>• Follow up on outstanding underwriting and processing conditions to ensure files are fully documented before closing.<br>• Confirm that supporting loan documents remain current and valid throughout the processing cycle.<br>• Prepare closing-ready files by working with title partners to reconcile figures and verify final closing numbers.<br>• Deliver initial and final Closing Disclosures to borrowers within required timeframes.<br>• Maintain organized and compliant loan documentation while adhering to applicable state and federal mortgage regulations.
• At least 2 years of mortgage loan processing experience, including recent hands-on work in Encompass.<br>• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple loan files and shift priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with borrowers, internal teams, and external partners.<br>• High school diploma or equivalent required.<br>• Working knowledge of mortgage documents, loan review processes, and closing preparation.<br>• Familiarity with conventional lending guidelines, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac standards.<br>• Exposure to SilverLake is preferred.
