Facilities Assistant
<p>Our client in Bloomington is seeking a <strong>Facilities Assistant</strong> supporting full-time hours. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who enjoys keeping an office running smoothly and efficiently. The Facilities Assistant will play a key role in supporting daily office operations, coordinating with vendors, addressing facility-related needs, maintaining office inventory, and ensuring shared spaces are well stocked, organized, and functional. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a hands-on approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to support a productive workplace.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Coordinate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to support ongoing office and facility needs.</li><li>Respond to day-to-day facility and office-related requests, ensuring issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.</li><li>Order, track, and maintain office supplies to ensure teams have the resources needed for daily operations.</li><li>Stock, organize, and maintain shared spaces, including the kitchen, breakroom, and supply closet.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels for office and kitchen supplies and replenish items as needed.</li><li>Assist with general office upkeep to ensure common areas remain clean, organized, and fully functional.</li><li>Communicate effectively with internal employees and external partners regarding facilities requests, vendor scheduling, and office support needs.</li><li>Help coordinate service visits, repairs, and routine maintenance as needed.</li><li>Support administrative and facilities-related projects and perform additional duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Previous experience in facilities coordination, office coordination, workplace services, or administrative support preferred.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Experience working with vendors and handling service requests preferred.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other administrative systems.</li><li>Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of reliability and follow-through.</li><li>Detail-oriented with a hands-on, service-minded approach to office support.</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing business needs.</li></ul><p>What Success Looks Like</p><ul><li>Shared office spaces are consistently organized, stocked, and ready for employee use.</li><li>Facility-related issues are addressed promptly and communicated clearly to the appropriate parties.</li><li>Vendors and service providers are coordinated effectively to minimize disruption to daily operations.</li><li>Office inventory and supplies are maintained efficiently to support a productive workplace.</li></ul><p><br></p>
