We are looking for a Data Analyst to join a team in Midland, Texas in an onsite contract-to-permanent role. This position centers on managing and interpreting data to support business decisions, with a strong emphasis on building reliable reporting and analytical solutions. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, Python, and R, and is comfortable working across large datasets in a fast-paced environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Organize, maintain, and validate data assets to support accurate reporting and analysis across the business.<br>• Develop dashboards and interactive reports in Power BI that translate complex information into clear insights for stakeholders.<br>• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.<br>• Use Python and R to perform data analysis, automate recurring tasks, and improve reporting efficiency.<br>• Apply DAX to create calculated measures and strengthen reporting capabilities within BI solutions.<br>• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver data-driven recommendations.<br>• Support the design and improvement of data pipelines and related processes to enhance data availability and quality.<br>• Contribute to modern data platform initiatives, including work involving Microsoft Fabric when applicable.

• Proven experience in a data analyst or similar analytical role with a strong focus on data management.<br>• Hands-on proficiency with SQL for querying, transforming, and validating data.<br>• Strong working knowledge of Power BI, including dashboard creation and report development.<br>• Experience using Python and R for analysis, scripting, or process automation.<br>• Familiarity with DAX for advanced calculations and reporting logic.<br>• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric and data pipeline concepts is preferred.<br>• Ability to communicate findings clearly and work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
