<p>We are seeking a hands-on Senior IT Systems Engineer to support and scale technology operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will play a key role in standing up new production areas, supporting critical infrastructure, enhancing end-user services, and driving automation initiatives across the organization.</p><p>The ideal candidate combines strong systems administration experience with a passion for solving complex technical challenges, improving operational efficiency, and supporting modern identity, cloud, and endpoint management platforms.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Manufacturing &amp; Infrastructure Deployment</p><ul><li>Lead the IT setup and deployment of new manufacturing and operational spaces.</li><li>Install, configure, and support network infrastructure, servers, workstations, and production-floor technology.</li><li>Provision user identities, endpoint devices, access controls, and supporting systems for new facilities and production teams.</li><li>Deliver accurate documentation, operational procedures, and support materials to local site teams.</li></ul><p>Platform &amp; Systems Administration</p><ul><li>Manage and support core enterprise platforms including identity management, productivity suites, collaboration tools, endpoint management solutions, and service management systems.</li><li>Configure and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO), user provisioning workflows, lifecycle management processes, and access governance controls.</li><li>Ensure systems remain secure, scalable, and aligned with business growth objectives.</li><li>Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to improve visibility, performance, and service reliability.</li></ul><p>Incident Response &amp; Operational Support</p><ul><li>Serve as a primary escalation point for infrastructure and platform-related incidents.</li><li>Perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolution efforts across networking, infrastructure, security, and application teams.</li><li>Lead post-incident reviews and implement preventative measures to minimize recurring issues.</li><li>Support production operations by maintaining high system availability and responsiveness.</li></ul><p>Automation &amp; AI Enablement</p><ul><li>Design and implement automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve service delivery.</li><li>Develop scripts, integrations, and workflows using APIs to streamline IT operations.</li><li>Build and enhance internal tools that improve service desk performance, technician productivity, and user self-service capabilities.</li><li>Explore and implement AI-driven solutions such as virtual assistants, automated support workflows, and knowledge management enhancements.</li></ul><p>Security &amp; Compliance</p><ul><li>Partner with Security, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams to strengthen platform security, logging, monitoring, and compliance initiatives.</li><li>Implement least-privilege access models and identity security best practices.</li><li>Support organizational compliance requirements and technology governance efforts.</li></ul><p>Leadership &amp; Documentation</p><ul><li>Mentor junior IT professionals and provide technical guidance on escalated issues.</li><li>Contribute to knowledge sharing, process improvement, and continuous learning initiatives.</li><li>Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, operational documentation, runbooks, and change management records.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p>Required Qualifications</p><ul><li>5+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 2 years in a Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role.</li><li>Experience supporting technology within manufacturing, distribution, laboratory, industrial, or other operational environments.</li><li>Working knowledge of Kubernetes administration, deployments, upgrades, or troubleshooting.</li><li>Strong understanding of networking, systems troubleshooting, and service dependency analysis.</li><li>Hands-on experience administering Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management solutions.</li><li>Strong scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.</li><li>Experience integrating systems through APIs and developing operational automation.</li><li>Knowledge of endpoint security, access controls, and identity governance best practices.</li><li>Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience creating technical documentation and operational procedures.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-moving environment and respond to critical operational incidents.</li><li>Ability to work onsite in the Mesa, AZ area.</li><li>Ability to lift and move hardware equipment up to 50 pounds when required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.</li><li>Experience developing internal applications, tools, or software solutions to improve operational efficiency.</li><li>Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or similar technologies.</li><li>Strong networking background including VLANs, wireless infrastructure, VPN technologies, and firewall administration.</li><li>Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar solutions.</li><li>Knowledge of compliance and security frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, CMMC, or related standards.</li><li>Prior experience supporting advanced manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering, aerospace, robotics, or hardware-focused organizations.</li></ul>
