Administrative Assistant
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide dependable operational support for state regulatory compliance activities in McLean, Virginia. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing document processing, mail coordination, and administrative workflows during a high-volume period. The role will work closely with senior leadership to help keep reporting tasks accurate, timely, and well organized.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Enter and update information in regulatory reporting documents and internal tracking systems with a high level of accuracy.<br>• Prepare completed reports and associated payment materials for printing, packaging, and distribution.<br>• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring items are sorted, documented, and routed appropriately.<br>• Deliver outbound mail to the post office each business day to support timely submission deadlines.<br>• Maintain organized administrative records and assist with document handling related to compliance operations.<br>• Provide day-to-day clerical support that helps the regulatory compliance team stay on schedule during peak workload periods.
• Prior experience in an administrative support or office coordination role.<br>• Strong data entry skills with close attention to detail and accuracy.<br>• Ability to manage mail processing, document preparation, and general office tasks efficiently.<br>• Clear written communication skills for handling email correspondence and routine administrative updates.<br>• Comfortable working under direction while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.<br>• Proficiency with standard administrative tools and office procedures.<br>• Reliable organizational skills and the ability to maintain consistent follow-through on recurring tasks.
