Customer Service Representative
<p>We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support customers with questions and concerns related to waste and recycling collection services in Illinois. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays composed in a high-volume setting, and enjoys helping people solve service-related issues. The role offers the chance to work in a fast-moving environment where strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a customer-first approach are essential.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Respond to a large volume of incoming customer calls each day regarding residential and commercial collection services.</p><p>• Assist customers by clarifying service details, addressing concerns, and guiding them toward effective resolutions.</p><p>• Manage conversations professionally in a busy call center environment where priorities can shift throughout the day.</p><p>• Investigate service-related problems and apply practical solutions that support a positive customer experience.</p><p>• Record call details, updates, and outcomes accurately to maintain complete customer account information.</p><p>• Coordinate with coworkers and internal teams when needed while also handling assigned tasks independently.</p><p>• Balance multiple responsibilities at once, including call handling, issue resolution, and documentation.</p><p>• Support order-related requests and general account inquiries with accuracy and efficiency.</p><p><br></p><p>The salary range for this position is $18 to $20. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. • Prior experience in customer service or call center support is preferred.<br>• Ability to communicate clearly and listen carefully to understand customer needs.<br>• Comfortable handling frequent inbound calls in a fast-paced work environment.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues calmly and professionally.<br>• Capable of managing several tasks at once while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.<br>• Able to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team.<br>• Familiarity with customer support, inbound call handling, and order entry is beneficial.
