<p>We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join a small, highly collaborative, and innovative development team. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced software engineer who enjoys writing code, solving complex problems, mentoring others, and helping a development team move forward.</p><p><br></p><p>The ideal candidate is someone who has been a hands-on engineer and has experience leading by example. You will work closely with Scrum Masters, Development Team Leaders, product stakeholders, and other technical team members to balance new development, production support, modernization initiatives, and evolving business priorities.</p><p><br></p><p>This team is curious, collaborative, and always looking ahead. They are continuing to modernize their technology environment, expand their use of cloud solutions and AI, and transition portions of their application landscape from Blazor to Node.js and React.</p><p><br></p><p>What You&#39;ll Do</p><p>Develop and maintain software solutions using .NET, Node.js, React, Python, and related technologies.</p><p>Work closely with the development team to understand the larger product roadmap and how current development decisions impact long-term solutions.</p><p>Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.</p><p>Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Development Team Leaders, developers, and business stakeholders.</p><p>Help the team navigate shifting priorities between new development, product enhancements, and production support.</p><p>Troubleshoot production issues originating from help desk tickets, identify root causes, and determine whether issues are isolated or recurring.</p><p>Support modernization initiatives and cloud-based development, with an emphasis on Microsoft Azure.</p><p>Develop code packages and work with Azure services, including provisioning, administration, compute, storage, and other cloud capabilities.</p><p>Contribute to the organization&#39;s transition from Blazor to Node.js and React.</p><p>Participate in technical discussions with an eye toward scalability, maintainability, and long-term modernization.</p><p>Mentor and provide technical guidance to other developers through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and leading by example.</p><p>Contribute to the organization&#39;s continued exploration and implementation of AI technologies.</p><p>Work effectively within a development environment that incorporates both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p>Required Qualifications</p><p>10+ years of software development experience with .NET, including .NET Core and current versions.</p><p>3–5 years of Node.js and React experience, with a stronger emphasis on backend development and some React/front-end experience.</p><p>3–5 years of Python development experience.</p><p>Experience with cloud development and modernization initiatives.</p><p>Experience developing applications or services in a cloud environment. Azure experience is highly preferred, but experience with other major cloud platforms will be considered.</p><p>Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices.</p><p>Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with the ability to operate effectively in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall culture.</p><p>Strong communication and collaboration skills.</p><p>Ability to lead by example while remaining hands-on technically.</p><p>Experience mentoring developers or providing technical guidance to team members.</p><p>Ability to work effectively with changing priorities and balance production support with new development.</p><p>Experience or exposure to AI implementation and/or AI-enabled development.</p><p>Preferred Cloud Experience</p><p><br></p><p>Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:</p><p><br></p><p>Azure Compute</p><p>Azure Storage</p><p>Azure Networking</p><p>Cloud provisioning and administration</p><p>Cloud modernization or application migration</p><p>Cloud-based application architecture</p>
