This role is integral to maintaining accurate financial records, supporting cost accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with reporting standards. The Controller will collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless financial management and reporting. The salary range for this role is $120,000–$150,000, depending on experience + a very competitive bonus. Responsibilities:• Lead and manage the monthly financial close process, ensuring all deadlines are met.• Prepare, review, and finalize monthly financial statements along with supporting schedules.• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure supporting documentation is accurate.• Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure efficient operations.• Maintain standard cost structures, perform cost rolls, and investigate inventory variances.• Oversee physical inventory counts and support inventory valuation processes.• Ensure payroll processing and reporting are accurate, and maintain oversight of employee benefits.• Monitor cash balances, initiate payments, and assist with treasury reporting.• Support credit and collections efforts, including reviewing customer creditworthiness and managing aging accounts receivable.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.• Proficiency in maintaining general ledger and reconciling accounts accurately.• Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration.• Ability to initiate and manage cash transactions, including checks and wire transfers.• Excellent communication skills for collaboration across departments and reporting teams.• Proven ability to implement and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting.• Familiarity with credit and collections processes, including customer credit reviews.
