<p>We are seeking an experienced Contract Network Engineer to support our client&#39;s infrastructure team on a 4-6 month engagement. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise with enterprise firewall, load balancing, and routing/switching technologies, and can hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p><br></p><p>Design, configure, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies, NAT, VPN, and threat prevention profiles</p><p>Manage and optimize F5 load balancers (LTM/GTM), including virtual servers, pools, and SSL offloading</p><p>Configure and maintain Cisco routing and switching infrastructure (routers, switches, VLANs, BGP/OSPF, STP, QoS)</p><p>Collaborate with internal teams to document network changes and maintain up-to-date network diagrams</p><p>Identify and resolve network performance issues and security gaps</p><p>Follow change management procedures and participate in after-hours maintenance windows as needed</p><p>Travel to local datacenter on occasion </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p>Required Qualifications</p><p><br></p><p>5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise datacenter environments</p><p>Demonstrated proficiency with Palo Alto firewalls (Panorama experience a plus)</p><p>Solid experience with F5 BIG-IP load balancers (LTM required; GTM/APM a plus)</p><p>Strong Cisco routing and switching skills (IOS/IOS-XE; CCNP-level or equivalent experience preferred)</p><p>Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment</p><p><br></p><p>Nice to Have</p><p><br></p><p>Relevant certifications: PCNSE, F5 201/301, CCNP Enterprise or equivalent</p><p>Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.)</p><p>Familiarity with SD-WAN or Zero Trust architectures</p>
