<p>Robert Half is looking for a results-driven Accounting Manager to oversee financial activities within one of our manufacturing clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing accounting, cost accounting principles, and hands-on experience with Costpoint software. This role will play a pivotal role in month-end close, reporting, and compliance within the manufacturing sector to ensure efficient operations and optimal financial performance.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.</li><li>Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions.</li><li>Oversee cost accounting activities including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliation.</li><li>Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.</li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.</li><li>Coordinate audits and support tax filings.</li><li>Supervise and develop accounting staff.</li></ul>

<p>- Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred</p><p><br></p><p>- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field</p><p><br></p><p>- Deltek Costpoint experience preferred</p><p><br></p><p>- Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines</p><p><br></p><p>- Strong communication and social skills</p><p><br></p><p>- Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentation</p>
