Controller
We are looking for an experienced Controller to lead finance and accounting operations for non-gaming business functions in Las Vegas, Nevada. This position oversees core accounting activities across corporate and property entities while supporting financial accuracy, operational discipline, and strong internal collaboration. The ideal candidate brings leadership experience, sound technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to guide teams in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Direct the daily leadership of non-gaming finance and accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related operational accounting activities.<br>• Partner with senior division leadership to shape and carry out financial and operational objectives that support broader business goals.<br>• Lead, coach, and evaluate department managers and team members, creating accountability while encouraging careful, focused growth and high performance.<br>• Oversee monthly and annual close activities tied to non-gaming revenue streams, ensuring deadlines are met and reporting remains accurate.<br>• Examine account reconciliations, general ledger activity, and financial statements to confirm completeness, consistency, and compliance with reporting standards.<br>• Serve as a primary point of contact for external and regulatory auditors, coordinating documentation requests and supporting audit activities efficiently.<br>• Promote strong service standards by responding promptly to internal stakeholders and guest-related financial matters.<br>• Support additional finance and accounting priorities as business needs evolve.
• At least 5 years of experience in a controller or similar accounting leadership role, ideally within a regulated or hospitality-related environment.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent extensive accounting experience.<br>• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activity, journal entries, monthly close, budgeting, and consolidated financial reporting.<br>• Solid understanding of GAAP and the ability to interpret financial reports, legal materials, and regulatory guidance with accuracy.<br>• Demonstrated ability to present information clearly and work effectively with individuals and groups across multiple levels of the organization.<br>• High level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail when managing financial data and deadlines.<br>• Proficiency with business and accounting systems; experience with Infinium and Cognos is preferred.<br>• Ability to communicate effectively in English and maintain all required work authorization and employment credentials.
