We are looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will act as a senior-level expert, overseeing the design, configuration, and management of enterprise network systems. You will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless operations, providing advanced support, and enhancing security across our organization's network infrastructure. Responsibilities: • Design, configure, and deploy network infrastructure including routers, switches, wireless systems, load balancers, and other network devices. • Conduct thorough analysis of network issues and deliver high-level response management to resolve complex problems. • Implement and maintain redundancy and high availability across enterprise connectivity to ensure uninterrupted operations. • Lead efforts to secure network platforms by addressing vulnerabilities and managing patching cycles for hardware and software. • Develop and enforce configuration standards while creating detailed support documentation. • Perform failover testing and ensure changes to network configurations align with change management protocols. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to develop solutions and troubleshoot network problems. • Provide mentorship to entry level team members and act as the final escalation point for network-related issues. • Manage procurement, implementation, and support of public and private circuits for remote and local networks. • Utilize expert knowledge of firewalls, network segmentation, and monitoring tools to optimize network performance.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.• Minimum of 4 years of experience in network engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.• Proficiency in Aruba and Cisco switching, routing, and wireless technologies.• Hands-on experience with Citrix NetScaler load balancing and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.• Expertise in IPSec site-to-site VPNs, including dynamic and static configurations.• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, FortiManager, Ansible, and Fabric Composer.• Strong knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Cisco ASA technologies.• Cisco Certified Network certification (CCNP) or an equivalent certification in Aruba and Fortinet is preferred.
