We are looking for a Back End Developer to join a collaborative engineering team in Hollywood, Florida. In this role, you will create reliable server-side solutions, partner with product and business teams to translate needs into technical outcomes, and help modernize core platform capabilities. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable applications, improving code quality, and contributing to a thoughtful service-oriented architecture.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design, develop, release, and support backend enhancements that address evolving business needs.<br>• Collaborate closely with product partners and fellow engineers to deliver solutions in a team-driven development environment.<br>• Gather and clarify functional goals by working directly with stakeholders and turning requirements into practical technical plans.<br>• Build and maintain data access components using C# with Dapper and MySQL, with continued focus on efficiency and database performance.<br>• Expand automated quality coverage by creating unit and integration tests with NUnit as part of both new development and modernization efforts.<br>• Refactor older platform components into independently deployable .NET Core services aligned with the broader architectural roadmap.<br>• Establish clear interfaces and communication patterns between newly separated services and remaining monolithic application areas during the transition period.<br>• Contribute to the stability, maintainability, and long-term scalability of backend systems through sound engineering practices.

• 6+ years of experience developing backend applications with C# and .NET technologies.<br>• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or SQL Server.<br>• Demonstrated success building and supporting large-scale, high-performing software systems.<br>• Strong understanding of service design, including API contracts, behavioral expectations, and testing boundaries.<br>• Proven ability to improve automated testing practices in codebases with minimal existing coverage while maintaining delivery momentum.<br>• Proficiency with .NET Core 7+ features, including dependency injection, configuration management, and logging.<br>• Experience with Web API development, Dapper, JSON serialization libraries, and backend development best practices.<br>• Familiarity with tools and technologies such as React, Redis, RabbitMQ, Nginx, Git, and at least one major cloud platform is preferred.
