Executive Assistant
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support senior leadership in a fast-paced Contract position based in Reston, Virginia. This role focuses on keeping executive priorities organized through attentive scheduling, travel coordination, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, responsive, and comfortable handling day-to-day needs for a CEO while working closely with an existing assistant during the transition period.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage a complex executive calendar, ensuring meetings, appointments, and priority changes are handled accurately and efficiently.<br>• Arrange domestic and/or international travel plans, including itineraries, transportation, and related logistics.<br>• Prepare and reconcile expense reports in a timely manner while maintaining accurate documentation.<br>• Provide direct administrative support to the CEO, helping maintain smooth daily operations and responsiveness to shifting priorities.<br>• Coordinate executive meetings by organizing schedules, confirming attendance, and supporting meeting readiness.<br>• Partner with the current Executive Assistant during the onboarding period to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing.<br>• Serve as a reliable point of contact for executive support needs and follow through on time-sensitive requests.
• Proven experience supporting senior executives in an administrative or executive assistant capacity.<br>• Strong background in calendar management with the ability to prioritize competing demands.<br>• Demonstrated experience booking and coordinating travel arrangements with close attention to detail.<br>• Familiarity with preparing expense reports and handling related administrative documentation.<br>• Ability to support executive meetings with professionalism, discretion, and strong organizational skills.<br>• Excellent communication skills and the judgment to work effectively in a high-visibility environment.<br>• Comfortable providing direct support to executive leadership in a fast-moving setting.
