<p>About the Role</p><p>We&#39;re looking for a hands-on <strong>Cloud Operations Manager</strong> to lead a growing cloud governance and infrastructure function. This role owns the standards, security posture, and reliability of our Azure environment — while also managing and developing a team of engineers. You&#39;ll sit at the intersection of network design, cloud infrastructure, and Infrastructure-as-Code, making the secure and compliant path the easy path for engineering teams across the business.</p><p>This is a great fit for someone who enjoys both the technical depth of cloud/network architecture and the people side of building and coaching a high-performing team.</p><p><br></p><p>What You&#39;ll Do</p><ul><li>Lead a weekly cloud governance forum, driving decisions on network design, security policy, and project status</li><li>Own cloud infrastructure support: server builds, network connectivity, private endpoints, DNS resolution, and firewall design</li><li>Manage cloud role-based access control (RBAC), including group creation, management group membership, and read-only/contributor access across the Azure tenant, subscriptions, and resource groups</li><li>Define cloud monitoring standards and codify them as Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)</li><li>Determine and document cloud data protection standards</li><li>Lead administration of the enterprise code repository</li><li>Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards and associated runbooks</li><li>Build and maintain disaster recovery standards to support application resilience</li><li>Manage, mentor, and grow a team of experienced engineers</li></ul>

<p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li>6+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or team-lead capacity</li><li>Strong hands-on Azure experience — this is critical to the role</li><li>Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred; other IaC tools considered)</li><li>Experience with RBAC, access governance, or identity management in a cloud environment</li><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree or equivalent practical experience</li></ul><p><strong>Strongly Preferred / A Big Plus:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Networking background</strong> — candidates with network engineering experience (routing, switching, firewall configuration, DNS, VPN/private connectivity, network segmentation) tend to ramp up quickly in this role, since a large part of the job is cloud networking and connectivity design</li><li>Experience with cloud governance frameworks, compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS), or security policy development</li><li>Experience building or scaling a cloud landing zone, governance model, or account/subscription structure</li><li>Familiarity with disaster recovery / business continuity planning in a cloud context</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p><ul><li>Multi-cloud experience (AWS/GCP) in addition to Azure</li><li>Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, networking certs such as CCNA/CCNP)</li></ul><p><br></p>
