Case Manager
We are looking for a Case Manager to support families and children through essential program coordination and administrative case services in Gardena, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can balance compassionate client support with accurate documentation, compliance tracking, and timely follow-up. The role sits within a fast-moving non-profit environment and requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to keep multiple cases progressing efficiently.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee an assigned caseload and guide clients through intake, enrollment, follow-up, and ongoing case coordination activities.<br>• Review applications and supporting records to help determine program eligibility and maintain compliance with established guidelines and deadlines.<br>• Prepare, update, and organize case files with a high level of accuracy, ensuring documentation is complete and audit-ready.<br>• Communicate with families, caregivers, and partner agencies by phone and email to answer questions, provide updates, and resolve routine concerns.<br>• Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate recertification timelines to help clients remain active in eligible programs.<br>• Enter case information into tracking systems and databases while maintaining dependable records and consistent data integrity.<br>• Support administrative operations by handling inbound inquiries, monitoring required paperwork, and prioritizing tasks in a high-volume setting.<br>• Work collaboratively with internal staff to ensure services are delivered efficiently and clients receive timely assistance.<br>• Track important milestones, follow through on outstanding items, and escalate complex issues when additional review is needed.
• At least 2 years of experience in case management, with preference for work involving children, families, or community-based services.<br>• Familiarity with state-funded or federally supported assistance programs, including subsidized child care or similar eligibility-based services.<br>• Working knowledge of enrollment, qualification review, and recertification procedures within regulated programs.<br>• Strong administrative skills, including data entry, document management, scheduling, and record maintenance.<br>• Ability to manage multiple active cases while meeting compliance standards and time-sensitive deadlines.<br>• Clear communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.<br>• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires strong organization, attention to detail, and adaptability.
