<p><strong>Software Developer III</strong></p><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> 52 Week Contract</p><p><strong>Work Arrangement:</strong> Remote EST Required</p><p><strong>Pay: </strong>Available on W2 </p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>Seeking an experienced Software Developer III to support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable software solutions. This role is responsible for building high-quality applications that meet business and user needs while contributing across the full software development lifecycle—from concept and design to testing and deployment.</p><p>The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new software features and applications</li><li>Develop clean, scalable, and reusable code aligned with established coding standards and design principles</li><li>Test, deploy, and maintain software applications, including debugging, refactoring, and performance optimization</li><li>Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share technical knowledge with team members</li><li>Document development processes, technical designs, and system updates</li><li>Monitor system performance and ensure applications remain current and efficient</li><li>Stay up to date on emerging technologies and recommend improvements or new tools where appropriate</li></ul>
<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field</li><li><strong>5–7 years of professional software development experience</strong></li><li>Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as:</li><li>C#</li><li>Java</li><li>Python</li><li>JavaScript</li><li>Experience working with <strong>software development methodologies</strong> (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)</li><li>Familiarity with development tools such as <strong>Git, JIRA, or similar platforms</strong></li><li>Experience with <strong>databases</strong> (SQL and/or NoSQL)</li><li>Understanding of <strong>web servers</strong> (e.g., Apache) and application architecture</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>software design principles for scalable applications</strong></li><li>Familiarity with <strong>continuous integration and build/deployment automation tools</strong></li></ul><p>•<strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with UI/UX design principles</li><li>Exposure to cloud-based application development environments</li><li>Experience working on enterprise-level or customer-facing applications</li></ul>
