We are looking for a CFS Agent to support daily logistics operations in El Segundo, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving freight environment and can balance customer communication with accurate administrative support. The role focuses on coordinating cargo activity, maintaining shipment records, and helping ensure smooth service for clients and internal teams.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Respond to customer questions related to container freight station activity and provide clear, timely service updates.<br>• Enter, review, and monitor orders, shipment requests, and service inquiries with a high level of accuracy.<br>• Work closely with warehouse, transportation, and operations teams to support efficient cargo handling and on-time movement.<br>• Prepare and maintain shipping documents, billing records, and related logistics paperwork in accordance with company standards.<br>• Resolve service issues professionally by investigating concerns, communicating next steps, and following through on solutions.<br>• Arrange pickup and delivery appointments to support scheduling efficiency and customer expectations.<br>• Keep files, databases, and internal records organized and current to support operational visibility and compliance.<br>• Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system and direct requests to the appropriate contacts when needed.

• Prior experience in customer service, logistics coordination, freight forwarding, or a related transportation environment is preferred.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.<br>• Proven ability to stay organized, manage documentation, and handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting.<br>• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.<br>• Familiarity with container freight station processes, shipping documentation, or cargo handling practices is a plus.<br>• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining attention to detail.<br>• Experience with filing, organizing records, and handling a multi-line phone system is beneficial.
