Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a team supporting customers in Durham, North Carolina. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced call center setting and can deliver courteous, efficient service during periods of high call volume. The person in this role will manage customer inquiries across phone and email channels while maintaining accurate records and helping ensure a smooth service experience.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Respond to a large volume of incoming customer calls with professionalism, accuracy, and a customer-focused approach.<br>• Provide timely assistance by answering questions, resolving routine issues, and directing more complex concerns to the appropriate team.<br>• Enter customer details, service updates, and order information into internal systems with a high level of accuracy.<br>• Handle email correspondence and follow up with customers to confirm requests, clarify information, or provide status updates.<br>• Support appointment scheduling and coordinate changes or confirmations based on customer needs.<br>• Place outbound calls when needed to gather information, deliver updates, or complete service-related follow-up.<br>• Use Microsoft Word and Excel to document activity, track information, and maintain organized records.<br>• Contribute to daily service goals by balancing efficiency, attention to detail, and a positive customer experience.
• At least 1 year of recent call center experience in a customer service environment.<br>• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume inbound calls while maintaining quality and professionalism.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills for phone interactions and email correspondence.<br>• Accurate data entry skills with close attention to detail.<br>• Experience with order processing, customer information updates, or similar administrative support tasks.<br>• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.<br>• Ability to schedule appointments and manage follow-up activities in an organized manner.
