Test Center Administrator
We are looking for a dependable Test Center Administrator to support daily exam operations in Minnesota. This is a contract position suited for someone who is highly organized, service-oriented, and comfortable working in a secure, process-driven environment. The role requires flexibility to work varying shifts, including Saturdays and occasional evenings, while helping create a detail-focused and consistent experience for every test taker.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Welcome test takers, confirm their identity, and guide them through check-in procedures with accuracy and care.<br>• Enforce testing rules and security standards by conducting required screening steps and maintaining strict control of exam materials.<br>• Observe candidates throughout their exams to protect exam integrity and respond promptly to concerns or irregular situations.<br>• Document incidents thoroughly and escalate matters that fall outside established procedures in a timely manner.<br>• Maintain an orderly, secure, and comfortable testing environment that supports fairness for all individuals being assessed.<br>• Assist with administrative support tasks such as scanning documents, handling clerical work, and answering inbound inquiries as needed.<br>• Support test center equipment handling by preparing materials, unpacking or packing items for shipment, and helping maintain workstation readiness.<br>• Move throughout the testing area regularly to escort candidates and monitor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional college coursework is a plus.<br>• At least one year of in-person customer service experience in environments such as retail, hospitality, food service, or front desk support is required.<br>• Must meet the minimum age requirement for the position.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and accurate reports.<br>• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and common office applications, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web browsers.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining attention to detail in a regulated setting.<br>• Must be able to bend, stoop, walk frequently, remain standing or seated for extended periods, and lift up to 40 pounds.<br>• Visual ability to work with computer screens and camera monitors, and physical capability to move safely through tight lab or office spaces.
