<p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Senior Data Security Engineer</strong> to lead enterprise-wide data protection initiatives focused on Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and data governance programs. This individual will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing strategies that protect sensitive data across both cloud and on-premises environments.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise DLP and CASB programs.</li><li>Architect and manage data discovery, classification, labeling, and protection initiatives.</li><li>Support data governance and compliance efforts through effective security controls and monitoring.</li><li>Lead investigations involving data loss, policy violations, and potential data exfiltration events.</li><li>Integrate security telemetry and data protection events into detection and monitoring platforms.</li><li>Drive threat hunting and proactive monitoring efforts related to sensitive data exposure.</li><li>Evaluate and recommend security tools, technologies, and vendors.</li><li>Partner with security, infrastructure, compliance, legal, and business stakeholders to implement enterprise data protection strategies.</li><li>Develop policies, standards, and best practices for data security and governance.</li><li>Mentor junior security team members and provide technical leadership across security initiatives.</li></ul><p><strong>*Please note: This is a fully onsite position in Johns Creek, GA. <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data security, information protection, or related disciplines.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with <strong>Microsoft Purview</strong>, including enterprise DLP implementations.</li><li>Deep knowledge of <strong>Data Loss Prevention (DLP)</strong> technologies and methodologies.</li><li>Experience with <strong>CASB solutions</strong>, preferably <strong>Zscaler CASB</strong>.</li><li>Experience with data discovery, classification, labeling, and governance programs.</li><li>Strong understanding of the data governance lifecycle and information protection frameworks.</li><li>Experience supporting security investigations, incident response, and remediation activities.</li><li>Knowledge of cloud security principles and modern security architectures.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.</li><li>Experience with:</li><li>Microsoft Purview</li><li>Data Labeling</li><li>eDiscovery</li><li>Varonis</li><li>Zscaler CASB</li><li>Data Classification Tools</li><li>Encryption and Key Management</li><li>Cloud Security Platforms</li><li>Threat Hunting Tools</li><li>Previous experience leading enterprise security initiatives across multiple business units.</li><li>Experience mentoring security engineers and leading technical programs.</li></ul><p><strong>Top Requirements</strong></p><ol><li>Strong Microsoft Purview and enterprise DLP implementation experience.</li><li>Deep CASB expertise (Zscaler preferred) and strong understanding of data governance lifecycles.</li><li>Proven experience leading enterprise security initiatives and cross-functional programs.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>*Please note: This is a fully onsite position in Johns Creek, GA.
