We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build and enhance software solutions that support hearing healthcare services in Draper, Utah. This role will shape technical direction, contribute hands-on engineering expertise, and help deliver dependable applications used by customers and business partners. The ideal candidate brings strong full-stack development experience, sound architectural judgment, and a collaborative approach to solving complex technical challenges.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Architect, develop, and maintain software components and services across the full development lifecycle, from initial design through production support.<br>• Guide engineering decisions by promoting sound coding practices, scalable design patterns, and maintainable application structure.<br>• Partner with product, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business goals into effective technical solutions.<br>• Provide mentorship to other engineers through code reviews, technical coaching, and day-to-day development support.<br>• Strengthen system performance, resilience, and uptime by identifying issues proactively and implementing sustainable improvements.<br>• Build and evolve APIs, backend services, and user-facing features using modern web technologies and service-oriented approaches.<br>• Contribute to technical planning and roadmap discussions, helping prioritize work that improves platform capability and long-term stability.<br>• Implement secure and reliable solutions that support distributed systems, cloud-based environments, and event-driven integrations.

• At least 7 years of software engineering experience, including work on complex production applications.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.<br>• Strong hands-on experience with backend development using Node.js or Ruby on Rails.<br>• Proficiency with frontend development using React.js and JavaScript or TypeScript.<br>• Experience designing and consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs in service-based architectures.<br>• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, cloud platforms such as AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.<br>• Demonstrated ability to design secure, scalable systems and improve application performance and reliability.<br>• Proven success leading technical initiatives, mentoring developers, and working effectively within collaborative Agile teams.
