Customer Service Representative
<p>We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a university-affiliated summer program in Lakewood, Colorado. </p><p><br></p><p>This Contract position is ideal for someone who communicates with warmth and professionalism, helps callers feel at ease, and can stay organized while handling administrative tasks in a small office setting. The role combines customer support with light clerical work and requires someone who is comfortable using technology, managing details accurately, and adapting to a collaborative, fast-moving environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p><br></p><p>• Respond to incoming calls and inquiries with patience, professionalism, and a reassuring approach that creates a positive experience for customers.</p><p><br></p><p>• Provide clear and friendly assistance to students, families, or program participants by answering questions and guiding them through available services or next steps.</p><p><br></p><p>• Enter information accurately into office records and program systems, maintaining organized and up-to-date data.</p><p><br></p><p>• Support administrative operations by filing documents, maintaining shared materials, and keeping workspace resources accessible.</p><p><br></p><p>• Use camp or program databases and related digital tools to locate information, update records, and assist with daily office tasks.</p><p><br></p><p>• Contribute to a small team environment by remaining flexible, sharing workspace as needed, and helping the office stay efficient during busy seasonal periods.</p><p><br></p><p>• Make or receive outbound and inbound customer contacts when needed to confirm details, provide updates, or resolve routine issues.</p><p><br></p>
<p>• Previous experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar front-line service role.</p><p><br></p><p>• Ability to communicate with empathy, maintain a friendly tone, and build trust with customers over the phone and in person.</p><p><br></p><p>• Comfortable using computers and learning office or program databases quickly.</p><p><br></p><p>• Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete data entry and filing tasks accurately.</p><p><br></p><p>• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a compact, shared office environment.</p><p><br></p><p>• Dependable, adaptable, and able to work effectively with a small team.</p><p><br></p><p>• Detail-oriented verbal communication skills, including confidence in handling inbound and outbound calls.</p>
