We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Daytona Beach, Florida on a contract to permanent basis. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to crucial financial operations, including managing payroll, accounts payable, and accrual accounting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and a commitment to accuracy. Responsibilities:• Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.• Handle full-cycle accounting tasks with limited involvement in accounts receivable.• Manage payroll for approximately 33 employees, adhering to company policies and regulations.• Apply accrual accounting methods to track and report financial data.• Record and process monthly accruals to maintain precise financial records.• Enter and manage data related to invoices and payments with attention to detail.• Assist in reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.• Utilize accounting software, such as Sage Intacct, to perform daily operations.• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.• Strong proficiency in accrual accounting and monthly accruals.• Familiarity with payroll processing for small to mid-sized teams.• Experience with Sage Intacct and Bill.com a huge plus.• Experience with Microsoft Excel• Skilled in data entry and invoice processing with high accuracy.• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
