We are looking for an Air Export specialist to join a logistics team in California within the import/export industry. This contract position with potential for a permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who can coordinate international air shipments, keep documentation accurate, and provide dependable service to customers and internal partners. The role focuses on managing export activity from booking through final delivery while maintaining compliance, communication, and billing accuracy.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate international air export shipments from order receipt through final movement, ensuring deadlines and service requirements are met.<br>• Prepare, review, and organize export paperwork to support compliant and timely shipment processing.<br>• Communicate with customers, carriers, customs contacts, and internal teams to provide shipment updates and resolve service issues.<br>• Enter and maintain shipment data in CargoWise, CRM platforms, and related business systems with a high level of accuracy.<br>• Monitor billing activity, verify charges, and support invoicing functions tied to export transactions.<br>• Track shipment progress, identify delays or exceptions, and take prompt action to minimize disruptions.<br>• Support customer service needs by answering inquiries, clarifying documentation requirements, and providing export guidance.<br>• Work across ERP and operational systems to manage logistics records, shipment status, and service coordination.

• Experience coordinating air export shipments in an import/export, freight forwarding, or logistics environment.<br>• Working knowledge of export documentation, customs processes, and international shipping requirements.<br>• Hands-on proficiency with CargoWise and familiarity with CRM, ERP, or other business systems.<br>• Ability to manage billing-related tasks with strong attention to detail and accuracy.<br>• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.<br>• Strong customer service background with the ability to respond quickly and resolve shipment-related concerns.<br>• Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational setting while meeting deadlines.
