We are looking for an entry-level Accountant to join our team in Cornelius, North Carolina on a contract basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in transaction recording and essential accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of accounting principles and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: • Record financial transactions accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date accounting records. • Perform accounts payable tasks, including processing invoices and ensuring timely payments. • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between internal records and bank statements. • Handle accounts receivable processes, including generating invoices and following up on outstanding payments. • Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure proper documentation and accuracy. • Assist in preparing journal entries and posting them to the accounting system. • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with accounting standards. • Maintain organized financial documentation for reporting and audits. • Support the team with additional accounting-related duties as needed.

• Basic knowledge of accounts payable (AP) processes and procedures. • Familiarity with bank reconciliation practices and techniques. • Experience with account reconciliation tasks and ensuring accuracy. • Understanding of accounts receivable (AR) functions and invoice handling. • Ability to create and post accounting entries with attention to detail. • Strong organizational skills to manage financial documentation effectively. • Proficiency in basic accounting software or systems. • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to address discrepancies.
