We are looking for an experienced operations leader to oversee manufacturing and warehouse performance for a temperature-controlled packaging facility in California. This contract opportunity is ideal for a hands-on individual who can drive productivity, maintain high quality standards, and support reliable order fulfillment across daily operations. The role will work closely with department leadership to improve efficiency, manage costs, and ensure the site consistently meets customer expectations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Direct day-to-day plant and warehouse activities to support safe, efficient, and dependable operations.<br>• Guide supervisors and team leads across production and distribution functions to achieve output, quality, and service goals.<br>• Monitor operational performance metrics and take corrective action to improve throughput, labor utilization, and schedule adherence.<br>• Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen inventory flow, shipping accuracy, and on-time delivery for customer orders.<br>• Champion continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste, control expenses, and enhance overall process effectiveness.<br>• Ensure products meet established quality expectations and that operating procedures align with regulatory and company standards.<br>• Support workforce planning, employee development, and performance management to build a productive and accountable team environment.<br>• Oversee facility resources, equipment usage, and operational priorities to maintain smooth execution of manufacturing plans.

• Proven experience leading manufacturing and warehouse operations in an industrial, packaging, or related production environment.<br>• Strong ability to manage frontline teams and supervisors in a fast-paced plant setting.<br>• Demonstrated success improving operational efficiency, quality outcomes, and delivery performance.<br>• Knowledge of inventory control, production planning, and cost management principles.<br>• Experience using Cloud ERP systems to support operational visibility and decision-making.<br>• Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on management approach.<br>• Ability to balance safety, productivity, and customer service priorities in daily plant operations.
