<p>We are looking for a dependable Dispatcher to support transportation coordination at our Compton, California facility in a contract capacity with the potential for a permanent role. This role plays an essential part in keeping daily service operations organized by aligning driver assignments, tracking route activity, and maintaining clear communication across teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive under pressure, and committed to delivering efficient, compliant service.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Coordinate daily assignments for regulated drivers and align route coverage with service requirements.</p><p>• Build and adjust delivery or service schedules to reflect changing workload, customer needs, and driver availability.</p><p>• Stay in close contact with drivers during shifts to communicate updates, delays, and revised instructions.</p><p>• Track route activity throughout the day and take prompt action to resolve service disruptions or timing concerns.</p><p>• Arrange backup coverage and reassign work when staffing gaps or operational changes arise.</p><p>• Address customer requests and service changes quickly while keeping internal teams informed.</p><p>• Support adherence to regulatory standards and company safety expectations in daily dispatch activity.</p><p>• Maintain accurate operational records, driver documentation, and dispatch-related logs.</p><p>• Partner with transportation, operations, and customer-facing teams to improve coordination and service execution.</p>

• Prior experience in a dispatch role is required.<br>• Working knowledge of regulated driver compliance standards is required.<br>• Background in transportation, logistics, environmental services, waste operations, or a similar field is preferred.<br>• Hazardous waste or related industry experience is an advantage.<br>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.<br>• Clear verbal and written communication skills with sound problem-solving ability.<br>• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities may shift throughout the day.<br>• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, computer-based dispatch tools, and logistics coordination systems.
