Learning and Development Trainer
<p>A health and human services organization is seeking a Training Specialist to join their team. The Training and Development Specialist is responsible for maintaining the standards of the organization’s talent by providing comprehensive training at the start of employment and as needed throughout employment. Their duties include working closely with department heads and supervisors to determine areas for employee improvement, developing training courses for new and existing employees and establishing methods to track employee performance after the completion of training. The ideal candidate has prior experience working as a Trainer for a behavioral health organization or similar and has done Professional Crisis Management trainings. </p>
• Experience delivering employee training in a structured setting, ideally within healthcare, human services, or a related environment.<br>• Ability to lead classroom-style and small-group training sessions with confidence and strong communication skills.<br>• Background in creating instructional materials, presentations, and learning resources for adult learners.<br>• Experience supporting orientation for permanent staff and continued staff development initiatives.<br>• Skill in evaluating training effectiveness and using performance feedback to improve learning programs.<br>• Ability to work closely with managers and supervisors to identify development priorities and training needs.<br>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training assignments and schedules.<br>• Proficiency in employee training practices, facilitation techniques, and learner engagement methods.
