We are looking for a Service Technician to support low-voltage and physical security projects in South Carolina. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in cabling, access control, and surveillance systems who enjoys field-based technical work. In this role, you will help keep customer systems operating reliably by performing installation, repair, and maintenance tasks across a range of network and security technologies.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and ongoing upkeep of low-voltage systems, including category cable, fiber cabling, and related network infrastructure.<br>• Service access control equipment, door hardware, and connected devices to ensure secure and reliable operation.<br>• Install and maintain video surveillance solutions, including cameras and supporting components.<br>• Build and support pathway structures that protect and organize cabling for security and communications systems.<br>• Work independently on routine assignments or coordinate with onsite leadership on more complex service projects.<br>• Maintain company-issued tools and equipment in safe, organized, and working condition.<br>• Follow established safety procedures and field best practices while working in active jobsite environments.<br>• Partner with other technicians and team members to complete service calls efficiently and maintain strong project support.<br>• Assist with additional field service duties as business needs require and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.

<p>• At least 2 years of experience in physical security, access control, or low voltage cabling installation.</p><p>• Practical experience working with access control platforms and CCTV or surveillance system configuration.</p><p>• Experience and/or certifications with security technology vendors such as Paxton, Avigilon, or similar. </p><p>• High school diploma or equivalent credential.</p><p>• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet requirements for operating company vehicles.</p><p>• Ability to complete all required candidate screening steps.</p><p>• Comfortable using basic measuring tools such as tape measures and levels with accuracy.</p><p>• Willingness to work a flexible schedule when project demands require evening or weekend support.</p><p>• Ability to work at heights, use ladders or lifts safely, and lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.</p>
