Oracle Cloud Administrator
<p>We are looking for an Oracle Cloud Administrator to support and enhance enterprise cloud operations in Cleveland, Ohio. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who can manage secure, scalable Oracle Cloud environments while partnering with cross-functional teams to maintain performance, reliability, and governance. The role focuses on infrastructure administration, automation, security controls, and operational support across multiple environments.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee Oracle Cloud environments across development, testing, and production to ensure stable and consistent day-to-day operations.</p><p>• Establish and maintain cloud governance standards by organizing compartments, access structures, policy controls, and resource tagging practices.</p><p>• Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration through Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Oracle-native resource management services.</p><p>• Administer cloud networking components, including virtual networks, subnet design, route configuration, security rules, and connectivity with on-premises environments.</p><p>• Manage compute and storage services by provisioning virtual machines, maintaining storage resources, coordinating backups, and supporting patch activities.</p><p>• Strengthen platform security through identity controls, encryption strategies, secrets management, threat monitoring, and vulnerability review processes.</p><p>• Track system health and service performance using cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities while diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues.</p><p>• Support financial oversight by reviewing cloud usage, monitoring budgets, and identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency.</p><p>• Partner with application, database, security, and network teams to support operational needs, compliance activities, incident response, and cloud-related transition efforts.</p><p>• Create and maintain technical documentation and participate in operational or on-call support as needed.</p>
• Demonstrated experience administering Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in a large-scale or enterprise setting.<br>• Strong understanding of core cloud services, including identity and access management, networking, compute, storage, and governance models.<br>• Hands-on background with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform and/or Oracle resource automation tools.<br>• Solid knowledge of cloud security practices such as least-privilege access, encryption, vault-based secret protection, and security posture monitoring.<br>• Experience designing or supporting hybrid cloud connectivity, IP planning, and secure network architecture.<br>• Proven ability to use monitoring, logging, auditing, and troubleshooting methods to maintain infrastructure reliability.<br>• Familiarity with cloud cost control, resource governance, and optimization strategies.<br>• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, with authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
