We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Engineer to support and enhance complex Linux-based infrastructure environments. This role will focus on system administration, automation, performance tuning, security, and production support across enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience working in fast-paced, high-availability environments. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, implement, administer, and support enterprise Linux server environments</li><li>Manage system performance, availability, reliability, and security</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex operating system, server, and infrastructure issues</li><li>Automate administration tasks using scripting and configuration management tools</li><li>Support patching, upgrades, and system hardening initiatives</li><li>Monitor infrastructure and respond to incidents, outages, and service requests</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams including cloud, network, security, and application teams</li><li>Maintain system documentation, standards, and operational procedures</li><li>Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity processes</li><li>Recommend and implement infrastructure improvements and best practices</li></ul>

Required Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of experience in Linux systems engineering or administration</li><li>Strong expertise with Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or other enterprise Linux distributions</li><li>Experience with server provisioning, patching, and performance tuning</li><li>Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or similar languages</li><li>Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef</li><li>Knowledge of networking fundamentals, storage systems, and virtualization technologies</li><li>Experience with system monitoring and log analysis tools</li><li>Strong understanding of security best practices, access controls, and OS hardening</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently</li><li>Strong communication and documentation skills</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience supporting cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud</li><li>Experience with containers and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes</li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices</li><li>Experience in high-availability or mission-critical production environments</li><li>Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, or Linux+</li></ul>
