We are looking for a skilled Assistant Controller to join our team in Chehalis, Washington. This role is ideal for someone in finance who is detail oriented, possesses strong leadership abilities, and has a comprehensive understanding of accounting processes. You will play a key role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records while supporting the accounting team. Responsibilities:• Manage and supervise the accounting and finance team, providing leadership and guidance.• Support the full accounting cycle, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes.• Perform and assist with account reconciliations and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.• Address audit requirements, including internal and external audits, to ensure compliance and accuracy.• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities to ensure efficient operations.• Conduct advanced General Ledger tasks at a senior accountant level.• Review and prepare financial statements and reports to provide insights into company performance.• Collaborate with team members to enhance financial procedures and ensure adherence to regulations.• Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. The salary range for this position is $95k to $115k. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with and 15 days of paid vacation, and 10 paid holidays per calendar year.

• Proven experience in accounting management and team leadership. • Expertise in month-end and year-end closing processes. • Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting and reconciliation practices. • Familiarity with financial statement audits and reporting. • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. • Skilled in bank account and balance sheet account reconciliations. • Comprehensive understanding of general accounting principles. • Excellent organizational and communication skills to facilitate team collaboration.
