We are looking for a Visual Designer to join our team on a Contract basis in California. This short-term opportunity is ideal for someone who can step in quickly and provide strong design support for a flight manual currently nearing completion. The role is based on-site and requires strong command of Adobe InDesign along with other core Adobe Creative Cloud applications.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Refine and complete layout work for a flight manual, ensuring the final document is accurate, visually consistent, and ready for delivery.<br>• Use Adobe InDesign extensively to build, edit, and format pages with close attention to typography, spacing, and document structure.<br>• Apply supporting design work in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to prepare graphics and enhance visual presentation where needed.<br>• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in the California office to address updates, incorporate feedback, and keep the project moving on schedule.<br>• Maintain brand and formatting consistency across the full document while resolving design issues efficiently within a tight timeline.<br>• Manage assigned tasks independently during the 4-5 day engagement and deliver high-quality output within standard business hours.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign for document layout, formatting, and production.<br>• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Cloud tools.<br>• Demonstrated background in visual design and graphic design with a strong eye for detail.<br>• Ability to work on-site in Carlsbad, California; this is not a remote position.<br>• Availability to begin on short notice and support a short-term Contract assignment lasting approximately 4-5 days.<br>• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle revisions quickly while maintaining quality.
